3 brothers at camp

Camp Wannakumbac is a residential (sleep-away) coed camp for campers aged 8 - 15. We are a non-profit organization with no religious affiliation. We rely on annual donations from our very generous sponsors. Learn more about our board members by clicking here. Program standards are established by the Manitoba Camping Association from which we receive our accreditation.

For 75 years Camp Wannakumbac has provided a creative social experience for young people from any culture or background. We're fortunate enough to be located steps away from Clear Lake, which is within the boundary of Riding Mountain National Park. We utilize our natural surroundings to contribute to your child's mental, physical, and educational growth.

Camp Wannakumbac encourages growth through cooperative learning and leadership, with emphasis on friendship, nature, community, and tradition. Our camp offers numerous day-to-day activities, some of which include archery, swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, guitar, dance, environmental sciences, drama, wilderness survival, and many more. You can learn about all our daily activities by clicking here.

Besides the daily activities, Camp Wannakumbac is probably best known for our unique weekly programming. Each week is specially programmed for each age group. One thing is for sure, you never know what is going to happen next at Camp. We've had visits from popular movie characters, game show hosts, rock stars, pirates... you name it! The programs are planned so that each camper will take home exciting memories of their week with us, and ensures that each year there will always be new experiences.
